Somalia is preparing to hold its first Public Health Research Conference in November 2021.
According to the Ministry of Health, the conference is scheduled for November 27-29, 2021.
Currently, the health ministry is deep in the planning mode.
It’s planning and brainstorming for the event together with officials from the Somali Research and Education Network (SREN) and the National Institute of Health (NIH).
Consequently, the health ministry has appealed to the country’s universities and research institutions to submit abstracts by November 15.
A scientific committee will evaluate all the abstracts.
Afterward, institutions whose abstracts the committee approves would get a chance to make presentations during the conference.
