Turkey, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and the United States have agreed to enhance coordination in the international training of Somali security forces.
This collaboration is aimed at improving near-term operational effectiveness while assisting the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) in developing a sustainable, long-term training capability.
This strategic move is crucial for building Somalia’s self-reliant security apparatus and addressing the evolving challenges in the region, particularly the fight against terrorism and insurgency.
By pooling resources and expertise, these nations aim to bolster Somalia’s defense and security capacities for long-term stability.
