Somalia will send a delegation of government officials to Africa Oil Week, which takes place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Africa Oil Week is a prestigious global platform that offers leading figures working in the oil and gas industry in Africa a place to meet, build contacts, and make deals.
Abdirisaq Omar Mohamed Maanta, the federal Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, will lead the Somali delegation.
Africa Oil Week is an annual event.
It has been running non-stop for the last 27 years.
Organizers announced that this year’s event will run from October 3-7 under the theme of “Sustainable Growth in a Low Carbon World.”
