Somalia is to strengthen its cooperation with Italy in the fisheries sector.
Ahmed Hassan Aden, the federal Minister of Fisheries, discussed this with Francesco Lollobrigida in Rome on Friday.
Lollobrigida is the Italian Minister of Agriculture.
Somalia and Italy agreed on the need to invest in the fishery sector in the East African nation.
Lollobrigida promised Aden that Italy would also invest in Somalia’s fishery sector while supporting its infrastructural development and maritime security.
