Somalia will work closely with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to address the concerns of internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Abdihakim Ashkir and Mohamed Affey agreed on this when they met and held discussions on Sunday.
Ashkir is the Deputy Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation while Affey is the UNHCR Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa region.
They discussed the efforts of the Somali government to address the concerns of IDPs and refugees.
