On Saturday in Mogadishu, the Minister of Information, Daud Aweis, inaugurated a training session on media ethics and electoral reporting standards for 25 journalists from both independent and state media outlets.
The workshop aims to enhance journalists’ skills and knowledge, enabling them to cover the upcoming elections accurately and responsibly. As a key pillar of democracy, the media plays a vital role in safeguarding electoral transparency and accountability.
