On Thursday, Somalia’s Cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, has approved a bilateral agreement with Egypt to waive visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders.
This agreement permits such individuals from both nations to travel visa-free for up to 90 days.
The deal was formalized during a meeting between Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo, where they also signed a joint declaration to elevate their countries’ relations to a strategic partnership.
