Somalia has welcomed the decision by telecom firms in the country to implement the interconnection agreement.
The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) signed the agreement with the telecom firms on December 5, 2022.
Somali National Communications Authority (SNCA) commended the firms for implementing the terms of the agreement.
Firms that will implement the agreement include Hormuud, Somtel, Telesom, Golis, SomLink, and Amtel.
