Somalia Youth Urged to Register for World Bank’s Blogging Competition

Youths in Somalia have been urged to sign up for Blog for Development Competition 2021, which is sponsored by the World Bank.

The competition is for youths aged between 18 and 28 years as of November 30, 2020.

Youths have until November 30, 2020 to register for the competition. Those registering must be currently living in a Sub-Saharan African country.

The competition is designed to encourage youths to identify ways of cooperating with their governments to find solutions for some of the problems afflicting their communities.

World Bank launched the competition in 2014 through its Nairobi office.

Through the competition, youths get an opportunity to write or blog about a topic that is critical to the economic development of their country.

Youths from all the 48 countries in Sub-Sahara Africa are invited to submit their applications and articles for the annual writing contest.
