Mahdi M. Gulaid, Somalia’s newly appointed Acting Prime Minister, visited the Ministry of Finance headquarters in Mogadishu early today.
During his visit, the Prime Minister held a meeting with Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, the country’s Minister of Finance.
The two leaders discussed several issues that included support for the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Further, they also talked about budgetary support, economic reforms, and the need for raising domestic revenue.
Gulaid was appointed the country’s Prime Minister on an acting capacity by President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo on Saturday following Hassan Ali Khaire’s ouster by parliament.
