Somalia’s Minister of Defense held talks with the United Kingdom’s Minister of the Armed Forces.
The meeting between the two ministers took place in Mogadishu on May 9.
Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, the defense minister, held discussions on wide-ranging issues with James Heappey, UK’s Minister of the Armed Forces.
Their discussions touched on the current situation in Somalia.
Specifically, they talked about the impending election of the East African nation’s new President on Sunday, May 15.
Further, the ministers also discussed increased cooperation between their respective nations.
