Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi M. Gulaid met with a delegation from the World Bank in Mogadishu on February 3.
Taufila Nyamadzabo, World Bank’s Executive Director for Africa Group 1, paid the Deputy Prime Minister a courtesy call.
Nyamadzabo led the World Bank delegation.
During the visit, both sides discussed wide-ranging issues. These included strategic partnerships that Somalia and the World Bank need to develop.
Additionally, they discussed the national reform agenda that Somalia needs to pursue to champion its cause.
