Somalia’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change is in Nairobi to attend the sixth edition of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA6)..
Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi arrived in the Kenyan capital on Monday.
This year’s conference is scheduled to run from February 26 to March 1, 2024.
Participants will discuss and seek solutions for the most pressing environmental issues affecting the world.
Al-Makhzoumi expressed her excitement at being at UNEA6.
She reiterated her commitment and that of her fellow participants in fighting climate change and promoting sustainability for all.
