Somalia and Turkey have agreed to begin exploration activities in three offshore blocks in the East African nation.
This decision was made following a meeting between Somalia’s Minister of Petroleum, Abdirizak Omar Mohamed, and his Turkish counterpart, Alparslan Bayraktar, in Istanbul.
Abdirizak and Bayraktar agreed this on Thursday. The Somali minister is currently in Turkey on an official visit.
