Somalia’s Minister of Finance delivered a keynote lecture at Georgetown University’s centennial celebrations on March 25.
Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, who is currently in the United States on a working visit, attended the centennial celebrations of the university’s Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS).
He was invited to the MSFS celebrations at Georgetown University to deliver the keynote speech on Friday.
Dr. Beileh’s lecture revolved around the need for rebuilding fragile states.
He based the lecture on Somalia’s unique experiences.
In his view, sustainable progress and development are only possible when humanity shares information and ideas.
