Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, Somalia’s Minister of Finance, held a closed-door meeting with the Swedish Ambassador to Somalia in his office on Sunday.
During the meeting, Dr. Beileh discussed the country’s economic growth with Staffan Tillander.
The leaders discussed the ongoing economic reforms put in place by the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) under President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s administration.
They also talked about ways of strengthening the country’s economy in the coming years.
Sweden has remained one of Somalia’s most important and loyal international partners. It has invested in several development and humanitarian projects around the country.
Dr. Beileh commended Sweden for being one of Somalia’s “most valuable partners” and for helping the East African nation to embark on the reform and development journey.
