Abdillahi Bidhan, the Minister of Fisheries in the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), held a consultative meeting with his counterparts from the Federal Member States (FMS).
The meeting took place in Bidhan’s office on Monday August 17.
During the meeting, Bidhan and his counterparts discussed several issues that are important to Somalis around the country.
First, they talked about sharing revenue earned from the fisheries sector.
The ministers also discussed about the need and ways of developing the fisheries sector to benefit more Somalis around the country.
Additionally, they talked about jointly coordinating COVID-19 response to allow the country to handle the virulent disease more effectively.
