Abdisaid Muse Ali, Somalia’s newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, met his Rwandan counterpart in the sidelines of the ongoing Turkey-Africa Summit.
Ali’s meeting with Vicent Biruta, Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, took place on December 17.
Ali is in Istanbul as part of President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s delegation.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan invited Farmaajo to Istanbul to attend the third Turkey Africa Summit.
Ali discussed several issues with Biruta.
These included bilateral cooperation in and other areas of mutual interest such as trade, development, and security.
