Somalia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Travels to Zambia for Meeting with President Hichilema

Abdisaid Muse Ali has traveled to the Zambian capital of Lusaka for a meeting with the country’s leader.

Ali, who is Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, traveled to Zambia on March 14.

Upon arrival, he proceeded straight to the presidential palace for discussions with President Hakainde Hichilema.

Several other senior officials from the Zambian government attended the discussions.

They included Stanley K. Kakubo and Jack Mwiimbu.

Kakubo is the Zambian Minister of Foreign Affairs while Mwiimbu serves as the country’s Minister of Home Affairs.

During their discussions, they all agreed to fast-track cooperation between Zambia and Somalia.

They also vowed to pursue cooperation in areas of mutual interests to their two nations.
