Somalia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms via a post it published on Twitter that the country has filed a case against Kenya.
The foreign affairs ministry filed the case with Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
This was confirmed on the foreign affairs ministry’s official Twitter handle.
In the post, the ministry stated that it had already submitted details of the lawsuit with His Excellency Abdalla Hamdok, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan.
Hamdok is also the Chairperson of IGAD.
Moreover, the tweet from the foreign affairs ministry shows that IGAD is to hold a summit on December 20, 2020 in Djibouti to discuss the case.
