Somalia’s Ministry of Health has confirmed that 21 people died from the terror attack that took place at Hayat Hotel on Friday and Saturday.
The health ministry released a report on the casualties on Sunday.
On August 21, the ministry issued a comprehensive report, which shows that 117 people were injured when Al-Shabaab attacked the popular hotel in Mogadishu.
As per the report, 15 of the wounded have serious and life-threatening injuries.
They corroborated the report by the Somali Police Force (SPF) that 106 people were rescued from the hotel between Friday and Saturday.
