Somalia’s Health Ministry Confirms 7 New COVID-19 Cases

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the country had recorded seven new COVID-19 cases.

According to the health ministry, four of the cases were in Puntland while the remaining three were recorded in Somaliland.

Further, health officials reported that six of the cases were male with the remaining one a woman.

Additionally, the health ministry announced 130 new recoveries, which have pushed this tally to 1,728.

The tally of people diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in Somalia has now reached 3,227.

With no new deaths to report, the health officials were also glad to announce that the tally of fatalities from the disease remains 93.
