Somalia’s Ministry of Health has started preparing for the second wave of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
The ministry issued a statement on Tuesday, November 11 to this effect.
To this end, it received a donation of medicine and equipment from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Save the Children.
Officials from the health ministry then submitted the donations to De Martino Hospital, the largest COVID-19 hospital in the country.
