The Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism is pursuing increased collaboration with the European Union (EU) in Somalia.
Daud Aweis, the federal information, culture, and tourism minister, announced this on Thursday.
He made the announcement following a meeting with Tiina Intelmann, the EU Ambassador to Somalia.
Aweis visited Ambassador Intelmann at the EU office in Mogadishu.
During their meeting, they discussed various issues including the priorities of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
Their discussions focused specifically on the information, culture, and tourism ministry.
Furthermore, they spoke about the ongoing support by the EU to the ministry as well as future collaborations.
