Somalia’s Ministry of Internal Security sent one of its senior officers packing on Tuesday.
In a letter dated April 2, the ministry announced that Samira Gaid ceases working as an advisor for Project SJGAB.
The letter mentions the recent remarks that Gaid posted on social media.
It added that Gaid’s remarks are a contradiction of the impartiality and neutrality expected of anyone hired to work on an advisory role in any government project.
The ministry accuses her of opposing the amendments to the Provisional Constitution.
