An Islamic State affiliate has claimed responsibility for the attack at Hosh Junction in Mogadishu on October 25.
In Sunday’s attack, three Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers were injured and rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Similarly, SNA soldiers captured one of the attackers alive.
Security sources are yet to release details of the captured militant’s identity, though.
On Monday, October 26, the affiliate announced that its militants had carried out the attack. It confirmed its involvement via Amaq News Agency, which it uses for such purposes.
