The Somali National Bureau of Standards (SNBS) has confiscated tons of expired flour at Mogadishu Port.
Officials from the bureau were at the port on Wednesday after receiving information on the presence of the expired flour.
According to SNBS, several business owners imported expired flour into the country from Turkey.
While warning other importers, the agency stated that anyone responsible for the confiscated flour would be arrested and arraigned in court for endangering lives.
