Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud, Somalia’s new Minister of Foreign Affairs, officially assumed office on November 28.
On Saturday, he was at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Mogadishu.
During the handing over ceremony, the outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Isse Awad, officially welcomed Mohamud.
Several cabinet ministers and Members of Parliament attended Mohamud’s assumption of office.
