Somalia’s Southwest State Concludes MISP Training for Health Workers

Somalia’s regional state of Southwest has concluded Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) training for its health workers.

The training, which lasted five days, ended on Sunday, June 5.

Southwest’s Ministry of Health organized the training for 35 health workers.

Some of the health workers at the training included doctors and nurses. Midwives and reproductive health managers attended and completed the training too.

The training, which took place in Baidoa, was successful because of support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
