Somalia’s Minister of Telecommunication and Technology is in Geneva to attend a global summit.
Telecommunication minister Mohamed Adam Moallim Ali was in Geneva for the start of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) on Tuesday.
He took part in the opening session.
Ali joins participants from all over the world at the WSIS to discuss equitable access to Internet and provision of Internet access to underserved communities.
He addressed other participants during a ministerial roundtable too on Wednesday.
The minister highlighted the digital journey that Somalia has been on for the past 10 years.
He assured them of Somalia’s unwavering commitment to a digital future that is not only inclusive but also resilient.
