Somaliland has accused Somalia of launching attacks and breaking the recent truce.
Authorities in Somaliland made this claim against Somalia on Sunday after the Council of Ministers met in Hargeisa to review the Las Anod situation.
The accusation came a few days after the United Nations announced that 20 people died in the recent Las Anod skirmishes.
According to the UN, the fatalities occurred following clashes between Somaliland forces and militias that are loyal to Somalia.
Hargeisa insists that a truce has been in force since Friday.
However, it adds that Mogadishu deployed friendly militias to attack Somaliland soldiers thereby breaking the truce.
