Somaliland and Djibouti consolidated their mutual relations on December 23 following a lengthy meeting between their respective leaders.
President Muse Bihi Abdi and President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Somaliland and Djibouti respectively met on Wednesday to renew collaboration on mutual areas of interest.
Currently, Djibouti enjoys international recognition while Somaliland’s pursuit for the same is in its fourth decade.
Nevertheless, this has not stopped the leaders of the two Horn of African nations from meeting in Djibouti to consult on issues affecting their respective peoples.
During their session at the presidential palace, both Bihi and Guelleh promised to consolidate diplomatic and bilateral relations between their nations.
