A fresh round of fierce clashes pitting Somaliland troops against SSC-Khatumo forces has been reported in Yeyle.
The clashes erupted on Wednesday morning.
Nevertheless, there has been no report regarding the number of casualties involved in Somaliland military battles with SSC-Khatumo forces.
Reports indicate that the decision by SSC-Khatumo to set Buqdharkayn village ablaze set off this round of clashes.
Leaders from SSC-Khatumo then called for peace.
However, Somaliland ignored their calls.
