Somaliland Cabinet Calls for Increased Vigilance While Reviewing Security Situation

Hargesia – Somaliland’s Ministry of Interior delivered a detailed briefing on the national security landscape during the Council of Ministers meeting held this week in Hargeisa.

While the overall situation was reported to be stable and well-managed, the Council emphasized the importance of maintaining vigilance in tackling routine crimes and traffic-related incidents.

The meeting was chaired by Vice President Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, who is currently serving as Acting President during President Abdirahman Mohamed Irro’s absence.

He reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to upholding public safety and stability throughout Somaliland.
