Somaliland has called Ethiopian investors to increase their investments in its fisheries sector.
Abdirizak Ibrahim, Somaliland’s Minister of Investment, issued this call in an interview with The Ethiopian Herald.
He added that Somaliland also requires more investments from Ethiopian in other sector such as agriculture and logistics.
Ibrahim mentioned several factors that make Somaliland attractive to Ethiopian investors.
These include untapped natural resources, easy access to the sea, and a strategic location.
According to the minister, Somaliland’s potential in the development of the fisheries sector is quite massive.
