Somaliland government has urged farmers to prepare for improved crop productivity.
The Ministry of Agriculture said that enhanced crop production is no longer a pipe dream.
Instead, it urged farmers to embrace the program designed to boost productivity.
Abdikadir Iman Warsame, the agriculture minister, announced that the program is up and running.
He was together with Faisal Ali Sheikh, the chairman of Somaliland National Silos.
Other government officials and stakeholders attended the launch.
The program was in President Muse Bihi Abdi’s manifesto.
