Somaliland’s Ministry of Finance held a two-day workshop for taxpayers in Hargeisa on Thursday September 24.
According to the ministry, the workshop was designed to educate taxpayers on the benefits of paying taxes.
Further, it sought to improve the understanding of taxation by the business community.
The finance ministry handpicked 25 taxpayers whom it invited to the workshop. Senior ministry officials with a wealth of experience on taxation conducted the training.
Afterward, the taxpayers commended the ministry for organizing a helpful workshop.
