The government of Somaliland, under the leadership of President Muse Bihi Abdi, is a terror group.
That’s according to a group of Members of Parliament from Puntland.
Led by Ahmed Hiriir Gaas, the regional MPs made this statement when debating a proposal presented in parliament.
In it, the MPs are asking the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) to treat the Somaliland government as a terror group.
The MPs made this view known on November 1.
Gaas told the rest of parliament that Somaliland has been making it easier for Al-Shabaab fighters to enter the region.
In Gaas’ views, Al-Shabaab militants find their way into Puntland’s Erigavo region through two mountains – Galgala and Al Madow.
Moreover, Gaas accused Somaliland of being responsible for the recent deaths in Las Anod area.
