Somaliland government announced a raft of measures designed to control fuel prices in the country.
Over the past few weeks, the price of fuel in the breakaway nation of Somaliland has skyrocketed.
On March 29, the Ministry of Trade announced that it would impose price control measures at the wholesale and retail levels.
While issuing the new directive, Mohamed Hassan Sa’ad Sajin, the trade minister, said that the price control measures would remain in place for the next one month.
Abdirahman Mohamed Mohamud, the Director General at the trade minister, warned against non-compliance with the new directive.
