The government of Somaliland has launched online services for registering and licensing businesses.
The government launched the service with financing from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Henceforth, investors interested in registering their businesses would need to do so at www.brls.govsomaliland.org.
The government announced this new development as a means of reducing costs for businesses and entrepreneurs.
