Members of Parliament (MPs) from Somaliland held a meeting with their Kenyan colleagues in Nairobi on October 31.
The Somaliland lawmakers were in Nairobi on a working visit.
The Somaliland MPs belong to the Foreign Policy and International Cooperation Committee.
Mohamed Jama Kodbur led the delegation from Somaliland.
Kodbur is the Chairperson of the Foreign Policy and International Cooperation Committee.
During their discussions, the two sides touched on wide-ranging issues that are of mutual interest to their respective nations.
In recent months, diplomatic relations between Somaliland and Kenya have improved significantly.
A few months ago, Somaliland’s President Muse Bihi Abdi visited Kenya at the invitation of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
