Somaliland cannot afford to go into the future without cohesion.
This is according to President Muse Bihi Abdi.
President Bihi called for cohesive national unity on Monday.
He spoke while addressing the nation.
Somaliland has been celebrating its independence day this week.
It attained independence 63 years ago on June 26 from British rule.
President Bihi urged the people of Somaliland to be more patriotic.
In his view, they can only safeguard the country’s independence through patriotism.
The celebrations were at the Presidential Palace in Hargeisa.
