President Muse Bihi Abdi held discussions with opposition leaders.
The meeting between President Bihi and opposition leaders took place on Sunday at the Presidential Palace.
Vice President Saylici attended the discussions too.
The President had called the meeting to discuss the ongoing situation in Las Anod. He invited the leaders of Wadani and UCID opposition parties.
Discussions between Bihi and opposition leaders are quite welcome.
Last year, Hargeisa was the scene of massive protests by opposition leaders and their supporters after Bihi’s administration postponed the presidential elections.
The elections were to take place on November 13, 2022.
