President Muse Bihi Abdi appealed to the citizens of Somaliland to embrace the giving of alms.
The President said this in his speech on Eid al-Adha.
As he led the nation in joining other Muslims around the world in celebrating Eid al-Adha, President Bihi urged the people of Somaliland to be proactive in almsgiving.
He was with other Muslim faithful at the Central Jamia Mosque in Hargeisa.
Sheikh Abdirizak Hussein Ali Albani, who presided over the prayers at the mosque, called upon the people of Somaliland to embrace unity and solidarity.
