Somaliland President Urges His Cabinet to Practice Collective Accountability

President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro delivered a powerful message during the Cabinet’s swearing-in ceremony, emphasizing the need for collective accountability and commitment to their duties.

He highlighted that the Constitutional Oath they took signifies a shared responsibility to uphold faith, serve the nation, and support its people.

He reminded ministers of the public’s high expectations, stressing that campaign promises, particularly in critical sectors like education, water, healthcare, roads, and justice, must translate into tangible reforms.

He urged the cabinet to focus on delivering progress and meaningful governance, pointing out that their performance would be judged by the public in future elections.

The President’s address underscores a strong call for results-oriented leadership, transparency, and effective policy implementation.
