Somaliland has reassured the international community of its commitment to peace.
On February 7, the Council of Ministers held a meeting in Hargeisa to discuss the ongoing situation in Las Anod.
The ministers who met at the Presidential Palace assessed the Las Anod situation.
They resolved to pursue dialogue as a solution for the conflicts and differences that have caused the loss of lives and property in the last few weeks.
President Muse Abdi Bihi chaired the session.
Vice President Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail Saylici attended the meeting too.
Afterward, the Council of Ministers issued a statement informing the international community and the people of Somaliland that it stands for peace.
