Somaliland has received a donation of two ambulances from Taiwan.
The ambulances are designed to contribute positively toward the growth of Somaliland’s healthcare mobility.
Taiwan runs a Maternal and Infant Health Care Improvement Project jointly with Somaliland.
The two breakaway regions have been running the project since August 2020 when the Taiwan Representative Office in Somaliland was established.
The project’s purpose is to make maternal and infant healthcare services more accessible.
Ambassador Allen C. Lou of Taiwan handed over the ambulances to senior representatives from Hargeisa Group Hospital and Gebiley General Hospital.
