Somaliland received a donation of relief supplies from the newly opened Taiwan’s Representative Office in Hargeisa.
Liban Yousof Osman, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in President Muse Bihi Abdi’s administration received the donation on behalf of the people and government of Somaliland.
The donation was delivered by a representative from Taiwan’s office.
Osman received the donation on Wednesday September 16.
He confirmed that the supplies were from Simply Help Foundation, a Taiwanese non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Los Angeles, United States.
The bulk of the donation comprised food and humanitarian supplies, which is to be distributed to the vulnerable communities and families around the country.
