Somaliland soldiers have joined SCC-Khatumo forces in Sool.
Led by a top military commander of the Somaliland forces, the soldiers defected to SCC-Khatumo on Friday.
Abdi Madobe, an SCC-Khatumo leader, welcomed them to the group.
Madobe added that his team would work closely with the defectors to fight Somaliland Armed Forces in the region.
The identity of the defecting commander and soldiers is yet to be released or confirmed, though.
