Somaliland Soldiers Leave for Advanced Training in Ethiopia

Somaliland has sent a large contingent of army recruits to Ethiopia for training.

The Somaliland National Armed Forces chief, Nuh Isma’il Tani, saw off the recruits in the border town of Wajale.

While the official number of soldiers sent was not disclosed, this move signifies ongoing military cooperation between Somaliland and Ethiopia.

The training aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of Somaliland’s armed forces amid regional security challenges.

The military personnel departed to Ethiopia for advanced training on Wednesday.
